Water dripping through fire alarm units in the ceiling on 1st and 2 and floors
    Hi,

I have a very strange problem in my house. Ever since temperature in Chicago have plunged to single digits, I started noticing that there is water dripping down through my Fire Alarm units on both floors. I am not sure if its connected to cold weather, but this is when its happening. I remember something like that from last year too. It hapennes, so far, in several rooms, on different sides of the house and on both floors.

Does anybody what it is? How do I stop it?

    Thanks a lot,
    Stephen

This is not a sprinkler system. It's a residential smoke alarm system - Firex.
It has a round sensor in every room (on a ceiling). They are all interconnected over power line.

    Thank you,
    Stephen

You could have a serious case of condensation in the attic space but the bottom floor I do not know. It would have to be a strange water leak since they are all leaking.

When cold air hits hot air water will fall out of suspension from the mix and accumulate. I would get it checked into before ant further damages happens.
