Any suggestions for a job I would be good at?
I went to school for business administration (basicall to be an admin assistant) and I have an associates degree. Lately I've have been really stressed and I can't even handle situations in my life, never mind if I had to keep track of someone else's (my boss). I've posted my resume on Monster.com, but only had one response and one interview (I didn't get the job). Seems like every company wants people with several years of experience, which I don't have. I currently work at a college as a Senior Clerk in the mailroom doing everything except secretarial work. My real question would be if anyone knows a career I could get myself into now (without going back to school)?

Is there any way you could go to evening trade school? Look through the programs that sound interesting to you; see if you can find a job doing something that is fun, almost a hobby. Consider what your hobbies are, and whether there is a job requiring similar activities. If you like decorating and interior design, you may find a job selling rugs and floor coverings for a department store. If you are close to the college where you earned your degree, it may assist in job testing and placement.

    Where do you live?
Try to see if you can get a job training as a stock broker.. they usually pay you around 500-800 a week.. and fund you to get your licenses..
Then from there you can either jump into.. the obvious.. being a stock broker.. or being a financial planner..

Or see if you can get your CPA or CFA.. that will make your resume look better..
Although ithink you might need your Bachelors for your CFA

Check at the public libraries in the area, even a college or university one. You are well-qualified to work at the circulation desk, checking books in and out, typing up and renewing library cards, calling patrons to tell them their reserved books are ready to be picked up, and lots of other duties. In public libraries, there is always a children's department that does much of the same thing but involves lots of kids with storyhour and reading clubs and videogaming. Working in the technical services department might also be an option; there's no public contact except via phone. Check area libraries web sites for job openings. Let me know if you need more information or help.

(Working at a library will be a good change of pace and even fun and will look good on a resume when you figure out what you really want to do.)
