    Mobile home electricity supply
I moved into a mobile home on a lot. It has no utilities hooked up. (big job! :( ), it has a breaker box in the closet with a 220v cord leading outside. The cord was cut from the box to its end hanging outside. I want to replace the cord and plug it in for power. (need an electrician to install 220 plug on the building next to the home) is this how its normally done? Why the cords cut, I don't know. Maybe remodeling. Is it safe to plug it in or is there possibly a reason it was cut?

It likely cut for one of these reasons
    1) Bad Plug
    2) Had to pull through a hole, and end couldn't fit through.
    3) They needed a plug and short cord.
    4) They Pissed someone off
    5) Never had one
Probably some others. A plug can be put on, then you will need a meter, breaker, and receptacle. All need to Be Weather tight.Check out your neighbors setup.
