    video cards/chips
Hey I have just got the game "crysys" (may explain my name:) ) anyway when I instaled it I got this error when trying to play it:

    Unsupported video card!
    "sis 760"[vendor = 0x1039, device = 0x6330]
continuing to run might lead to unexpected results or crashes.

This means nothing to me so I thought I would just buy a new better video card then my friend said that it may be an internal video chip (or something like that) so you may not be able to get a better one.

My comp is compaq presario 061 and as you can see in that error message I have sis 760.
Also the game needs 256 MB video card.

Bascly I want to know if its possible to buy and instal a better one or if its an internal chip?

OK I have just been to PC world and asked the "tech guys" they said that most of the new video cards are PCI-E and mine is PCI so the best place to look is on the internet cause most shops don't sell them anymore. So I have found this PCI card:

New FX5500 Geforce 256MB PCI DVI Graphics Card FX 5500.

    Interface PCI Universal Slot
    Chipset NVIDIA GeForce FX5500
    Memory 256MB DDR SDRAM
    DVI & TV-OUT Dual Head
    General features 0.13u process technology
    128-bit advanced memory interface
Support DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL 1.4
    Engine Clock 370Mhz - Memory Clock 250Mhz
    68 Million vertices/ sec
1.0 Billion texels/ sec fill rate
4 pixels per clock rendering engine
    NVIDIA CineFX 2.0 Engine
Advanced Display Pipeline with full nView Capabilities
    High-performance, high-precision 3D rendering engine
    High-performance 2D rendering engine

    SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Intel Pentium 4/III, Celeron II, AMD K7/Athlon, Athlon XP with An available PCI 2.0 slot

    Will it work on this:

    Amd athlon(tm) 64 processor 3400+, mmx, 3dnow, ~2.4GHz

    ??

    Yep, it will work.

Crysis is known for it's incredibly steep hardware requirements. Be prepared to turn down the game settings in order to get smooth framerates.

Pointless if the rest of the system can't keep up with it.
