    I was Foreclosed
My home was foreclosed on 1/1/2008. I was working with a mitigator to help me with the mortgage company to make a payment plan arrangement. The mortgage company refused. I filed Chapter 13 on 12/31/07. But the Bankruptcy office was closed and I was unable to get my Bankruptcy done. The home foreclosed on 1/1/2008 but it was never sold. The mitigator has called to see if we can make an arrangement to cash up on the payments and at this point they refuse to speak to anybody. I am still living in my home and I want to keep it, should I get a lawyer at this point? Or is it too late, has anybody every been foreclosed and were able to keep there home? Any help will be grateful.

    Thanks to all!!

You need a lawyer to try and overturn the foreclosure. Not sure what success you will have though. Shop around for an attorney and see what they say.
