    Mental stress
    How can I avoid dreaming about something that is not real?It's a kind of mental stress that makes me feel uncomfortable.

    I had this same problem for a long time, but what I id would probably not be "Dr. Recommended". I just started taking a double dose of Tylenol PM before bedtime. It would put me into a very deep dreamless sleep and after doing that for a week or three my reoccuring dreams ceased without the drugs. Again, I am sure it isn't Dr. recommended, but it helped me.

    Often dreams come from your sub-conscious trying to work out problems that you are facing in real life. For example, a dream that your teeth are falling out could mean that you feel insecure. Avoid caffeine and sugars before bedtime. Get exercise every day so that you sleep better. Try to find out what is making you stressed or causing you to have the dream. If you can find the root of the problem and deal with it, you will have a good chance of being successful. Of course, sometimes dreams are just dreams. But, if it is a recurring nightmare, then it may represent a problem that you are dealing with in real life. Does that make any sense?
