    Jacuzzi Slow Leak In Drain
We have a slow leak in our jacuzzi tub. It seems that the drain works partly as the tub takes a long time to be empty, but we can't seem to figure out how to take the drain out, much less fix it! Any advice would be appreciated!

Hmmmm.. are you suggesting that the tub waste and overflow assembly is leaking by as you use the tub.. Do you have a trip lever at the face plate of the overflow assembly.. you know, do you activate a lever at the face plate to drain the tub.. If that is the case you should see two screws on faceplate that you remove and then pull the face plate up and the whole interior part out of the overflow tube. Then you will adjust the mechanism by either spinning the mechanism to lengthen or shorten unit OR you will loosen a screw and again, lengthen or shorten mechanism until it holds water correctly... this can take a few minutes to figure out... so take your time and move in increments of say... 1/4" at a time. Let me know if I am on track with this... ok..

If you have a toe touch type of drain then you will simply need to twist counterclockwise until you remove the toe touch drain cover.. if this is leaking by try to clean it.. if that does not work, then they actually have replacement toe touch type drains at local home supply stores.
