Time Frame for Eviction of Tenant from Florida Condo
Any and all responses are much appreciated.
We have a condo in Florida, with someone who has been there for several years. No contract with this gentleman, simply a verbal agreement, that has worked for us all throughout this time.
We would like to kindly ask him to now vacate the condo, and are preparing a letter to this effect.
My question is, what is the minimum time frame we are obligated to provide him, in order to vacate... 30 days... 60 days!
Say it is 30 days... is it then 30 days from the date we send the letter? Or 30 days from the date he receives this letter?

    Your help is appreciated.
Thank you, and have an excellent day!

Actually Florida only requires 14 days from either party to terminate a month to month agreement, however if you can afford to give him more time, that would be a nice gesture on your part. The date would start on the date the letter is postmarked.

Thank you very kindly for this helpful information Lill... and such a quick response!
    That's fantastic!
May I ask you as well, or anyone else for that matter, whether there is a specific form you must use when submitting this eviction request to your tenant, or if not a form, a specific format to which you must abide when writing this letter?
    Please let me know.
Thank you again, and have a magnificent day!
