Buying a new house that we are moving our old dog to
We have a 12 year old Malt-e- poo who is very attached to us and her surroundings.
She is scared of other animals, she thinks she is one of us. We have lived in the same house for the past 12 years and are going to move. She is very set in her ways and has a certain routine in our house and with certain furniture we are not taking with us. I'm afraid she will grieve herself to death when we move her. I would appreciate any insight on what to expect from her when we move and how to make it easiest on her.

I'd start removing the furniture from her surroundings one at a time while your in your current house. Something like move and cover or cover.
