    Basement bathroom??
Hey Speedball, I asked you a few questions in the past. I am installing a half bath in the basement, nothing roughed in so I will have to break up the floor. Not a big deal, as I am equipped to do so.Couple of questions I have for you. 1.to minimize the concrete destruction, I plan on running my sink drain behind a wall near my toilet. Does the piping for the sink have to up stream from the toilet piping? Or does it not matter. 2.As for the Toilet flange placement. Is there a standard offset from the wall or is each toilet different?

    Hi Jeremy, Welcome back.

Since the lavatory will be vented you may tie into the toilets drain line at any point. If you rough for a future shower connect that drain to the lavatory drain where it will be wet vented and will save you from running another vent for the shower.

2.As for the Toilet flange placement. Is there a standard offset from the wall or is each toilet different?
A standard toilet roughs in at 12" from the finished wall to the center of the closet flange.
    Good luck Tom
