Disinfecting well - can't smell the chlorine!
I poured a gallon of bleach in my well and ran the water for at least 15-20 minutes, going through 3-4 cycles of the well pump turning on, and still I cannot smell any chlorine. What did I do wrong?

My well is 530ft deep and 6inch casing. That's all I know about it.
