Hi I live in Ohio and we got ourselves into a really bad situation. My daughter, partner, friend and I all lived together and decided That we would rent a 5 bedroom house with friends of ours, Now this is where it gets sticky our new roommates consist of husband wife and son. And only th husband put himself on the lease. Our rent is 700 and we split it three ways 233 each now the first month he gave us 150 saying he had no money (he was a roofer it was a rainy week) second month he gave 180 saying it was a hard week and then this month he gave 200 this whole time they have paid no utilities including cable and they have a dvr box in their room phone electric or gas which all add up to 350.00 Whenever we approached the wife she said she is not on the lease she can leave at anytime its not her responsibility but we try to kick her out and she says my husbands on the lease I can stay. They keep coming up with excuses and when I went in and said I was going to have the jack in their room removed and the cable box removed she had her mother call me and tell me it is illegal is there anything I can do?

Yep, very bad mistakes not getting a contract, lising everyone's responsibility. If the husband is late rent for three months give him a notice to pay or quit, if he does not pay up all that is due, evict him and his wife.
