How should a p trap toilet bowl with only two holes in the base be installed on ceramic tiles?
Can you use cement at the bottom of the bowl to stop same from shifting?

Nobbie... all toilet bowls have integral p traps to keep sewer gases out... so this should just be a normal toilet bowl installation. Here, the closet flange is a pipe in the floor with a flange that accepts johhni bolts (either 1/4" or 5/16" johhni bolts available as well as long shank type... I use 5/16" most of the time). The closet flange should set on top of the floor...not flush, but on top (if it is not it should be extended using an extension kit or by cutting the pipe and using a coupling and new flange to set flange on top of ceramic tile...then using a 1/4" carbide drill bit you can install/secure the flange through the holes in flange through tile using 1/4" plastic cement anchors and screws).

Then, you would insert (actually slide) the johnni bolts into the channels on the sides of the flange (center these to the flange), you would install a wax gasket (most install on the bottom of the bowl (around raised hole) and set the bowl squarely down over the johhni bolts. Use your body weight to slowly push down on toilet ( a big mistake beginners make is to let the bowl drop in front or in back while setting toilet bowl... do not do that... push down with equal pressure. Attach the finish cap plastic washer and the metal washer supplied with the johhni bolts and then the nuts over the johhni bolts... tighten down.. a little at a time on both sides... square the toilet to the wall... tighten a little more... check if bowl rotates.. BE careful... take time and do not overtighten... heck, since you live there if you are unsure at all, tighten until you are unsure then wait for awhile.. let wax spread a little and then recheck tightness... it's just a judgement call really... Anyway, as long as it does not seem loose.. you will be fine. Then install the toilet tank, etc...

Nobbie, Mass has given you some pretty good directions here. You did not mention much about why/how the toilet comes to needing installion. Is this a remodel, did you install the flange yet or did you tile over it? Maybe a pic would help if you can.

I saw the repost Nobbie... hoping you reposted as Ballengerb1 suggested so that others will understand this new post... Nobbie real easy to set the saniflo bowl.. no adhesives needed at all , really.

Here, the saniflo toilet came with a pair of screws with finsh caps... all you need to do is drill through the ceramic tile... using a 1/4" carbide drill bit...then if floor is wood/concrete board under that...simply screw the screws provided through the holes in the toilet base and gently screw into the wood/concrete board flooring (pilot holes will help here). IF it's a concrete floor the tile sits on then just drill your 1/4" holes deeper... and use 1/4" plastic anchors and use other screws but same decorative caps provided to screw the toilet down to the floor. You could always compliment this with a small bead of silicone around the base of the toilet after installation.. BUT IT IS NOT NEEDED!
