Fantasies, good or bad?
All right I always catch my sister talking to herself... she is not crazy! But I always find her talking to herself in the mirror fantasizing she is talking to some boy and making believe she is in certain situations. I know it is normal to fantasize but she is doing it so much! Thankfully she knows the difference between her fantasies and reality.. but I'm just afraid about how much is too much? Is it okay to fantasize talking to someone and admiring yourself in the mirror? Sometimes without the mirror, she just make believes, kind of like a wild imagination... and may I add she is NOT young, she is a teenager... so can you please help me help her?? Is it okay? How to stop it? Ways to stop... what to do when she feels like fantasizing... ANY comment will be appreciated as long as it is well expressed :)

You didn't mention how successful your sister's dating life is, but I don't believe you have anything to worry about as long as she's happy, but knows the difference between fantasies and her real life. If anything, she's probably just practicing in case some certain situation in life with/without a guy happens, and she believes it will help her be more prepared. It's up to you, but you should probably just leave your sister alone and let her have her fantasies and be happy. It's perfectly healthy.

Her dating life isn't so successful, she is a very beautiful girl and very smart and lovely to be with, guys look and admire her, but don't ask her out, for some reason they don't, its like they only go out with the shallow girls. And she doesn't lack self confidence... well everyone has there good hair days and bad hair days... that's it I guess.
I'm not trying to stick my nose in, I'm just honestly worried... is it okay for her to be fantasizing so much? Aren't this things normal for people younger?

Many people are taught that someone who talks to herself is crazy. What else? If fantasy and reality aren't well separated, they're really quite ill? Yes, if she is not aware that it's just her and the mirror, that's when you need to worry. Most people just don't let anyone see them doing it. I think it has to do with a combination of loneliness and a vivid imagination.
