Tell your insurance company the truth and let them deal with it,

    1. always call the police to the scene of an accident, then there is a police report, showing where the damage occurred on the cars, this normally will show fault fairly easy.

    2. try to always carry a cell phone with camera, a digital camera or a disposable camera in the car to take photos of all of the damages even with police there.

And so they review the laws of the state, it is always good to know your laws. I know almost every traffic law in GA, even they silly ones never inforced. Would not help me out of an accident.
In the end, you can't stop a person from lying, just tell the truth and hope for the best, that is all you can do.
