    Trying to find the name of a kids movie I watched in the 80s
    I was born in 84 and I vaguely remember it so I'm guessing its from the late 80s early 90s maybe? But I really want to find it :)

    It was a cartoon movie, all I remember was that there was this girl and these giant slater-like bug things with heaps of eyes. And she surfed on the glass case from a dead ones eye.
    And there was an old lady that made a tapestry of a boy dancing on a field of gold, but it was really a foretelling of the girl standing on the gold antennae things from the giant bugs when she saves the day at the end of the movie?

    Sounds kind of weird now

    Any help is appreciated! I can't find it anywhere :(

    This sounds like something I'm looking for too. I want to say it's Robotech. But I'm not sure.

    I had a look at some Robotech clips and I don't think it's that.
    I asked my parents if they remember it at all and they said they do! They thought it was a japanese movie/anime, and it was something to do with a nuclear war or post-nuclear attack or something?
