    Registy Error
I am certain that most of the members in this group have seen Registry Error with the error of STOP 0x00000051. However, I could not find a match of all the parameters within the error. Not even Microsoft Support. I am very curious as to what may have CAUSE the problem. This was a system that was running perfectly fine the day before (according to user) and the next day a BSOD. Below is the complete STOP Error and parameters within.

    STOP 0X00000051 (0x00000004, 0x00000001, 0xe141bab8, 0x01325618)

    OS: Windows XP Pro SP2

    Thank you very much.

What was installed recently on the machine? Was the machine able to restart?
What was running at time of bsod?

How to troubleshoot a "STOP 0x00000051 REGISTRY ERROR" error message
Even though its for windows 2000 its probably the same thing as XP since there on the same kernel

Another thing to try, if you can get into the repair console try running: chkdsk /F

If this doesn''t help, start PC with XP install disk and choose the option that give you
    "R" to repair this installation
