    Another one for Hillaricare
On a radip talk show last night they were talking about an article in the Wall Street Journal titled a question for Hillary. They said it was questioning why since her health care plan is so good why hasn't she tried using it as an example in New York so that people could see what a success her idea could be. They said that New York has the worst health care than Pa, Tx and Fla combined. 13 1/2 % of New York is without health care.
Why does she think she can cut through the bureacracy as President of the USA when she can't as a Senator of New York?
Does anybody have the site with the article they were talking about?

Well for one thing she is neither the Governor of a member of the legislature. As for NY ;the fools in Albany can't handle simple tasks like passing a budget that has a mandatory deadline. The Democrat machine that really hasn't changed much since Tammany Hall are still into give-away politics . But even with that in mind the people of the State would reject single payer Hillarycare if proposed. We already have a shortage of doctors. Imagine the mass exodist if Hillary care was adopted ! Oh they try to tell you that doctors pay will not be affected .They try to tell you that hospitals will not shut down .They try to tell you that there will be no rationing of service. They try to tell you that the system cuts out the middle man and thus it is cheaper. The try to get you to believe that the same government that couldn't deliver services to New Orleans will efficiently run this plan . They are lying . It takes months to resolve basic Medicare /Medicaid issues now . Vets are given inadequate care in gvt. Run facilities .But we are to believe somehow that the gvt. Can manage one of the largest segments of our economy better... lolololo

    Exactly.
I was just listening to a girl that said she lived in England and France and she is scared to death of getting the health care here that she had there. She said that she had to wait months for an appt. and then many months more for results and she could have been dead in the meantime. It reminded me of the clinics and state run hospital that I had my sons in only worse. I don't wish what I went through on anybody!

It's a good question. But Hillary doesn't operate at that level... she's a Senator, not a state lawmaker. Even if she thought she could get her medical plan passed (and I have questions about whether she could), it is beyond her authority to do it in NY state.

A better question is why she hasn't authored, initiated, or pushed for such a plan in Congress. If her plan is so good, why hasn't she tried to get Congress to sign on and make it into law. Even if it failed, she could at least be able to claim that she tried. But she hasn't done that. Why not?
