Am I A bringing issues to my marriage?
I been married since 01, I was 25 and my wife was 19. I have 1 kid previous to my marriage and 1 kid during my marriage with my wife.Since I've been married my wife and I been having arguments which some of them resulted in domestic violence. What caused the domestic violence, my wife thought I was controlling her of the way I act about her drinking alcohol and smoking weed (which I don't like). Because before I married her I was drinking and doing drugs heavy. That caused a lot of problems with my life finacially and functionally. Before I stepped in this marriage I quit drinking and using drugs. But now my wife and I discuss her drinking and smoking weed before she goes out to visit her family.(Due to the fact they smoke and drink). Before she leaves the house with our son we always discuss that and she always says she won't do anything but 8 hrs after I get off work the she is either high or drunk. She takes the word of what other people say instead of me which makes me feel disrespected.I feel she doesn't care about our child future. So in this marriage I feel confused my wife she works 2 full time jobs and she also pays all the bills.I used to have 1 full time job and 1 part time job.I lost of job due to the fact of my supervisor was trying to have sexual relations with me.So I end up explaing the situation to my wife and than quit that job.My other job I don't bring home that much because I pay for our medical insurance.I don't go out anywhere except to work and home to be with our son why she's at work.I don't go anywhere because I don't want to give my wife a reason not to trust me because of what I done in my past while with her. With everything I explained here I'm trying to find out if I'm a bad husband or if the income I bring home that that is the reason why my wife doesn't respect me? Is my marriage going to last or should I just let it go?

I believe you need a marriage counselor just as fast as possible. No one is perfect, but your wife sounds like she needs help in her life, besides alcohol and weed.
