    What is the best way to identify the name of "property of addition, Associative property of multiplication over addition, commutative property of addition and commutative property of addition", when there is only the illustration?

    Commutative property of addition IS the SIMPLEST:

    a + b = b + a (eg 5 + 9 = 9 + 5)

    Then there is Associative property for Addition

    (A + B) + C = A + (B + C) e.g. (5 +3) + 9 = 5 + (3 + 9)

    Distributive property : The distributive property comes into play when
    an expression involves both addition and multiplication

    A (B + C) = AB + AC [ e.g. 5 ( 9 + 7) = 45 + 35 ]

    Associative property of Multiplication is

    (AB)C = A(BC) e.g. (5 times 3) times 6 = 5 times (3 times 6)

    Commutative Property of Multiplication is

    AB = BA (eg 5 times 7 = 7 times 5)
