My mom's cat has mucous poop
    Hello,

I'm worried about my mom's cat. She has very mucousy poop. Does anyone know what may cause this? The cat is older, but otherwise seems healthy. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

I am not much of an expert on this. I am still in middle school, but I would guess that she might have an infection. Like I said I don't know. I am just guessing.

Don't give her medicine for that because I am not for sure.

If the cat has had more than 2 bm's or if she has been like this for more than 24 hours, I would take her to the vet.
