    Brake lights switch on ford explorer98
    Dose any one know how many wires the brake light switch has (mine seems to have four) and how to test on a 1998 ford explorer 4ltr v6. Manuel transmition.

    Hey nick, yes some do have 4 or more. What are you trying to test for? Do the lights not work? You need a test light to test the circuit. There is a light green wire that will power up when you press the brake and another wire that is always powered up, think its green with red stripe. If not then check your fuses.
