    Hooking up dishnetwork satalite to philips DVD recorder
    I just got a Philips DVD recorder and I want to hook it up to record off my satalite TV. I can not find a code that will work.. How in the world do I hook it up to record??

    Are you talking about a infrared code for the remote?

    If you are, then the code you are looking for should be in the satellite User Manual, under Phillips, Dvds.

    If you cannot find the code there, then see if you Universal Remote can "Learn" the DVR remote signals.
