Ive been working with this woman now for little over a year and we've become close friends. I know she really likes me because she tells me all the time. We actually speak to each other on the phone at least once a night for about a good 30 minutes to an hour. I know being her friend is good and all but I find myself wanting more. Along with this, I've never kissed her or slept with her because honestly, I wouldn't want the same thing happening to me. However, I almost can't stand the fact of even looking at her because it drives me crazy. She tells me often that she wants to begin something with me but she needs to break up with her boyfriend. So I do the friend thing and I listen to her troubles and she tells me how she wishes I was the one she was with. I have tried to make her jealous by dating other women some of whom she honestly, didn't like at all which she said drove her insane. But in the end, I still find myself on the outside looking in at their relationship.

Should I still keep playing the field and waiting for her or should I just move on?

Keep playing the field. But don't wait for her ; move on, at least until she does (with her current "boyfriend.") She may be playing you for extra attention on the side and you really shouldn't give it to her, at least not nearly to the extent that you have been.

If I was you I would move on because if she was that into you she would off split up from her boyfriend the minute she said had feelings for you.and if she said she wishes she was with you and not her current boyfriend then you want to ask yourself why isn't she.

Assurance is the word. You dated other women so it's one thing of the few things why she didn't dump her BF for you.

If you want a quick answer, give her, say 2 weeks to decide if she will choose you. When you have an answer, make it the final. No more second chances.

Even if she was to break up with her boyfriend tonight and start dating you tomorrow... there would be way too many complications.

She wouldn't be 100% over her ex, and I'm sure he wouldn't just let her go and completely stop calling her. Do you really want to deal with all that bagage?

Her making remarks about being with you instead of her current boyfriend don't mean jack... it's just words. I wouldn't put any faith into it at all.

I could never trust a girl like that personally... what's to say she wouldn't do this to you.

She probably likes you, and really likes the attention you give her. But like other posters have said, if she said she wanted to be with you she would. She's stringing you along and you are playing into it.

Besides, if you guys did start something I don't think she would be emotionally ready for another relationship...
