My son has problems with his knees due to muscles being to strong on the sides of his legs. The orthopedic doctor said this is quite common in teenage boys, that play sports or lift weights. He had a MRI that showed the problem it was called Chondromalacia. The trainer at his school designed a program for him to strengthen the correct muscles to support his knees.
