    Co-Subleasing in a Commercial Property Rental
    If a commercial building is being rented month to month, can the current tenant rent space within the same rental agreement legally? Say another business structure wants to rent one day a week for xxx amount of dollars. <California>

    Hello J:

    It would depend on what the current rental agreement says. If it says nothing about subleasing, then I would say you can.
