OK so I have an iud and have had one for 14 months now and I have never had problems with it before... I had my period on the 8th or what I thought was a period I was spotting for ONE day and had a pinkish dishcarge for 2-3 days. Now 2 weeks later I am having major abdomanol discomfort and cramping... I am extremely tired and am neaseated. I have had a headace for a few days now and have had a fever 2 times... I am having a very heavy discharge which is unusual for me. I had my daughter 15 and a half months ago and I have had very little or no discharge and all of a sudden these past few weeks it has been heavy so heavy I have been using panty liners. I started taking prenatals about a week or two ago because the pharmasist told me they would be the best multi vitamin for my face to clear up. Could I be pregnant please help me... I took a test yesterday and I saw both lines faint but then one disappeared... could it be too soon to tell if I am pregnant? Could I be? Could the prenatals have effected the iud? I am also on neproxin and lexapro could they have also affected the iud hormones? What should I do?

The answer is simple. Go and see your doctor. The doctor is the only one who can say for certain if you are or aren't pregnant. No contraceptive device is 100% safe so you may be pregnant but talk to the experts.
