    Being harassed
    A little story about my situation. Me and my husband got divorced and the court gave us joint custody. We went to court and they ordered support. Had diffuculty paying after my last child to pay. We went back to court and the judge said something about going to jail. My ex said we would settle it out of court. 10 yrs later I had to go back to court because they said the order was still in effect. So now I am extremely in debt, if I miss any payments he immediately takes me back to court and since the arrears is so high, they keep suspending my license. What can I do to stop this from continuing?

    If you have a court order to pay child support, you have to pay period. Nothing will stop them from trying to collect, and you could end up in jail.

    If you want this pattern to stop, you need to pay your child support.
