    Depends upon your filing status-- Head of Household, Married filing Separately... ; your income and taxes withheld.
    For you son, you get additional exemption of $3,400, your Earned Income Credit increases, and you get $1,000 of Child Tax Credit (or Additional Child tax credit).

    It depends on how much you earned, how much tax was withheld by your employer and what deductions, besides credits for yourself and your son, that you're entitled to.
