I have heard that over in the middle east women can not go anywhere without a male escort, a escort can be considered a male baby. In my story a woman must be escorted by one to two eunuch marines fully armed armored. This is done to protect the woman from anyone that may attack the woman. Eunuch guards are never allowed to leave the woman unguarded. If the woman has gone to use the restroom, or to bed the guards must wait outside, sleeping in shifts outside the door. I cannot confirm what happens in all Middle Eastern countries,but I guess you are right that it is practiced in Saudi Arabia.
