    ASN Program
I already have a Bachelor of Science degree and am trying to get my RN in nursing. Can I go to an Associate of Science Nursing degree (ASN) program and still be able to get my RN in nursing? Also, how long are these programs?

My friend has a Bachelors in Science and now an Associates in Nursing (as of Dec. 2007). She went through a 2 year program at a Community College and just passed her NCLEX. Yes, she is an RN. She also says that she's so glad she had the Biology Degree because it helps! Good luck!

Well yeah you can if you try, you just have to sit on a waitlist like a sitting duck like the rest of the students waiting to get into an impacted community college program. I don't know what state you live in, but if you live in California, mount st mary's college has a 1 year accelerated BSN degree for students who already have bachelors in something else. You can look into that.
