    Hospital negligance?
Is it possible to sue a Buffalo, NY county hospital for dying my 76 year old mothers hair red? My mother was in care of the facility for 3 1/2 months. A nurse took it upon herself to color my mothers hair (my mothers hair is black and my mother has dementia). They actually colored her hair approx 3 times while in their care. I checked her out of the hospital but had to wait a month to take her to a beauty parlor to get it fixed at the cost of $100.00. My mother was distraught that her hair was red for approx. a month. When I wrote an e-mail to the hospital about this matter, all I received was a phone call from a social worker saying the nurse that did this has been told she's not allowed to color hair on patients and that they learn that in nursing school. Any answers out there?

    Thanks

I would send the hospital a bill for the salon's cleaning her hair. If they don't pay then sue them for it. But beyond the cost ofrestoring her hair I don't see anything else you can sue for.
