hey guys. I'm 16, young, but not so naïve. Got out of a tough relationship with someone around January of this year, [2007]. I finally got over him and met this adorable guy back in October. The second, to be exact. We "talked" for about a month or so, the decided to make things official November 13th. Well yesterday was our first month. Woo. Yay. Joy. Anyway, everythings going fine. He is sixteen as well, thus lacking in maturity, which gets to me at times. Its not bad, at least not in person, but on the phone, it really gets to me.

I don't think we've had not ONE serious conversation the whole time we have known each other. You see, I'm a very serious person. I'm irritable, but I put up with it. Replies and comments sounding a little something like "your face" and random "EXACTLY" 's are easy to get annoyed with. He's never really serious, and it gets to me, especially on the phone.

Also, he seems to schedule days to hang out, and then put them off when he finds something better, or more fun to do. I don't know if I should actually get upset by that, but it bothers me as well.

its like, last night he asked me "you wanna come over tomorrow? or do you have to study for finals?"
so I was like "yeah probably, i dont have that much to study and what i do need to study i'll do it saturday, saturday's my busy day, so yeah, i think i can=]"

well I didn't hear anything about me coming over today, although he did send me a text saying "valerie and michelle are going ice skating today, and i wanna go!"

so I'm disappointed, and I don't know if its too early to address these issues yet, I'm thinking I should wait a little longer when we become more serious. He seems to be pretty easy going and not too concerned about the relationship. Its still early, I know this. But he doesn't seem to serious. I don't know how, it just seems that way.

And there's one more thing, he plays a lot. Like he's never serious, as the aforementioned, he seems to lack in maturity, he's been serious a couple times, maybe twice. But it really kills me how he seems to take everything as a joke.

I don't know if its me, but I've been there, done that, and I'm lokking for something real.

I may only be 16, but I know what I want. I don't want to end us because I'm really into him, its just these things that bother me and I'm not quite sure how to deal with it.

any suggestions, anyone?

Also, I'm not going to post a new thread, but I have another question;

I am a satanist, and I don't celebrate christmas. Yet my fairly new boyfriend wants to get me something. And if he does, I'm going to have to get him something in return. I have no idea what to get him, because we haven't been dating that long. I'm thinking on spending only maximum $35 on him. I don't want to get him anything too expensive or too cheap. Its only been a month.

Cologne? Don't know what kind he likes.
CD's? He downloads his music online.
video games? Too expensive.

He really doesn't have any personal interests and what he wants, he buys himself.
