Would I be able to sports in college
I'm a senior this year. I was suppose to played varsity basketball this year. But it was some issues going with the coach. The coach already had me sign up for basketball. The coach told me if I was going to do indoor track. I was like um no. He said, that the assistant track coach wanted talk to me about doing indoor track about 2weeks ago. I seen the track last week he didn't say anything to me about it. I talked to him the next day, and he told me to think about coming out for it. I'm still upset the both of them because they talked behind my back and tried to get me of something that I loved the most of what I want to do. I talked the basketball coach how I felt. But really wanted to play this year. Really its not his choice and my choice of what I want to do. Do think I should've went out for the team? I wanted to know even though I'm try to involve in AAU because I'm still eligible to participate. Can college recruiters see you play in AAU? Be able to get sports scholarships.

P.S. Do they have walk-ins (try outs), even though you don't get sports scholarships for sports in college?
I played basketball three years and Track 3 years in high school

I guess I don't understand why you didn't play bball. To answer your question, it will be very difficult to get a scholarship if you didn't play your senior year. (near impossible, as a matter of fact) You can walk-on, but I would talk to the coach first to find out how he/she feels about it. Good Luck.

Most scholarships come from scouts watching you play, so by not playing you will have a serouis issue getting any scholarships. You may be able to get on a team,
