    Florida law-roommate kicked me out
This is my first time on here so hopefully I am doing this right. Back in Aug I sighned a lease with my then boyfriend for a year lease it was him, myself and my 3yr old son. Things got sour quick and what it all boils down to is on the morning 2:30 am Dec 1st I received a call from him we had just ended our relationship about 3 days before this, I could here partying and a bunch of background noise, when I showed up at my house a little before 3a.m. by ex had a new girl there and he was completely trashed was yelling at me and told me to get my stuff and leave now! As I was so hurt of the situation and my son wasn't with me I packed my car up the best I could and next day came back for the last of it. I am having problems getting off the lease due to the office saying that he could not evict me or throw me out and he would have to sighn me off the lease, he's not being helpful at all, he already has moved the other girl in and I just want my name of the lease any suggestions?? I need help!! Thanks in advance!

How about reporting that the other person has moved in to the apartment to the landlord. Often times there are stipulations in the lease that others are not allowed to move in unless their names are added to the lease. I don't know if it will get your name off the lease, but it might make her responsible as well. You could also look into filing against him on the grounds of improper eviction, but that might cause you more problems than it is worth.

Kicked out [ 4 Answers ]

Ok, so this one confuses me. If you are under 18, and your parent(s) kick you out, and you leave because they don't want you in their house, do they have the right to call you in as a run-a-way juvinile? And if they do, what happens if you tell them that you were kicked out and have witnesses?
