    Spotting lightly
I've been getting my period on the 14th of each month, but about a week ago I spotted a few times very lightly.{pinkish in color} I haven't spotted since then. But I know it's not time for my period. Me and my boyfriend have had unprotected sex numerous of times and he did in me a few times. Please tell me what this is or what this means.

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't read your question carefully enough. It could be a sign that your pregnant. Spotting is a symptom. You could just be late which is very normal.

Implantation bleeding is really very rare. But it could be a possibility. Irregularity in bleeding isn't uncommon, esp at younger ages. I suggest waiting until you expect your period. If it doesn't come, wait one week, then take a hpt. If its negative, wait until you next period comes or is missed(as its also not uncommon to be late, or completely miss a cycle now and then). If missed again, retest. If still negative, but still no period, its time to see your doctor.

Its easy to do. Its hard to think of it in this way, but the menstrual cycle is truly such a delicate thing... any little thing can throw it off. Sickness, medication, change in diet or other lifestyle change... anything... and sometimes seemingly nothing at all. I'm afraid you now find yourself in the waiting game phase. Hah. Good luck
