    Treasury stock
    The purchase of treasury stock for cash.. What effect does it have upon total assests, total stockholders equity, shares issued, and shares outstanding?

    Assets (cash) goes down. Stockholders equity goes down. Shares issued is unchanged. Shares outstanding goes down.
