    Xp error
    Hey!

Was on my computer as usual today, when suddenly my computer decided to bascailly keep the 'dash' button permently held in.
So say I open notepad, I get a endless amount of ' - ' appearing, none stop.
When ever I open a window, its bascailly like your pushing a key none stop.
It's not my keyboard, I've unplugged it and put in another one.
    I've attempted a system restore.
    Still no good.
Any ideas why this would have happened?
And how I can resovle it?

    Thanks for any advice given!

Are there any high energy towers or broadcast stations near to you, like Police Stations and Fire Department houses?

It may be nothing more than radiation from an outside source. You can try rotating the PC 90 degrees and see if that helps. If it does, than consider putting some Alum. Foil on the inside of the removable covers.

    Jake,

No offense taken. I used to be a field tech with IBM so I have run into this situation very often.
