For an adult I am assuming? How long after the exercise? A few minutes? A half hour?

Heart rate during exercise should be about 80 BPM, so for every few minutes after you should be decreasing. The average BPM should be around 60 depending on many factors such as weight, height, age, etc.

Immediate post exercise heart rate.. so I'm assuming right when you stop. The question is in regards to my age.. 19. Found my maximal heart rate (during exercise) to be 201.. (220-age). Pre-exercise heart rate- between 60-62. I think the immediate post exercise heart rate is supposed to be the highest it gets during exercise?

Your maximum heart rate was 201? Holy cow that is what is called tachycardia and can be very dangerous!!

An infant, whose normal heart rate is almost double ours at rest, is 110 - 160.

Are you talking 201 beats per minute?

In my exercise physiology class it says to get your max heart rate during exercise by subtracting your age from 220.. Target Heart Rates
200 would be 100% max heart rate..

Age target HR(50-85%) Avg max heart rate 100%
20 years 100–170 beats per minute 200 beats per minute
25 years 98–166 beats per minute 195 beats per minute
30 years 95–162 beats per minute 190 beats per minute
35 years 93–157 beats per minute 185 beats per minute
40 years 90–153 beats per minute 180 beats per minute
45 years 88–149 beats per minute 175 beats per minute
50 years 85–145 beats per minute 170 beats per minute
55 years 83–140 beats per minute 165 beats per minute
60 years 80–136 beats per minute 160 beats per minute
65 years 78–132 beats per minute 155 beats per minute
70 years 75–128 beats per minute 150 beats per minute
