False negatives in pregnancy tests are definitely possible. Some are because you take the test too soon. Others because you don't follow the time recommendation precisely, and still others because the test area did not get enough urine. I also read somewhere that if you drink too much water before a test your urine might be too diluted to give accurate results.
If you are having symptoms of pregnancy then you should see a doctor for a blood test. If you are 3 months late and pregnant, it's time that fetus received medical care! If you are 3 months late and not pregnant, you need to find out what is causing the symptoms that you are having. Stress, excessive exercise and weight loss can effect your period, as well as many other medical conditions including hormonal imbalances.
Please don't put it off any longer - either way you should receive medical care.
