    NOMA Thermostat
I just installed a NOMA 7-Day programmable thermostat, and I have a question. When I first installed the thermostat, it stated the humidity in my house at 18%. I need it to be around 35-40% so I increased the setting. It is now a full day later, and the only reading that I can get for humidity states "L0%". What does this mean? The icon shows that the humidifier is activated, but I am wondering what the "L0% is referring to. Is it working? Why does it not give a % value?

The first question is do you have a add on humidifier? Next question when was the last time you serviced it?

The humidifier I have is attached to my furnace. It is a flow-through bypass humidifier that has been added to a bryant furnace.

This is a brand new house that I built myself but did not like the humidifier and thermostat that my heating contractor supplied. This should not require any service at this time.

I would check the batteries in the unit. If it is a new thermostat it does not make a difference because the batteries that come with them new are defective or out of juice right out of the box.

If you replace the batteries and you see this sign within a week or two the thermostat could be defective.

I would also refer to your original install instructions you saved after you installed the thermostat. I am sure this sign/signal is also listed there.

That is the problem. I have gone through the operating manual and installation instructions several times and there is no reference to the "L0%" indication on the humidity level. When I first plugged it in it showed 18%, but now it won't give me a value.

I will call NOMA direct to see if anyone there can help.

    Thanks,
