No period. Not Pregnant. I need ANWSERS
I have a nine month old and I stopped using birthcontrol 4 months after childbirth. I haven't had a regular period ever, but my last periond was 07/22/07 and it is now 12/3/07. . Whoever reads this try to give me some kind of answer...

I don't know what kind of answer you expect. We'd like to help you but what are you looking for? You stopped using birth control, you have irregular periods, and I'm assuming you've had sex. Can you be pregnant? Sure. Sex without birth control obviously can mean pregnancy. Sex WITH birth control can mean pregnancy... as demonstrated by the little toes in my avatar. Likewise, your cycle after pregnancy and giving birth can be absolutely out of whack... and you have a history of irregular cycles. Absolutely common to have irregular cycles after having a child. The only certain answer is the one given by time and pregnancy tests, with blood tests being more sensitive than at homes. Have you seen your doctor? Speculation means nothing. On second look, I'm not sure if you are worried you are potentially pregnant, or that you are just concerned that you don't have a regular period. If it's the second... well all kinds of things can throw off a woman's cycle, including emotional stress, poor sleep and physical strain... all of which are almost mandatory with a baby in the house... Id bet its just the stresses on your body. When in doubt see a doctor. |

You should go to the doctor. We're not really able to give an accurate answer, it'd be best if you talked to your doctor about this. They can do bloodwork and all the other proper things that should be done in order to answer your question with the right answer.

It is not normal to go without a period for more than a few months.
We all can give you advice and such, but I'm sure at the end of everyone's advice you are going to see "set an appointment with your doctor". Your doctor is the only one who has the resources to accurately diagnose your problem. |
