    Hello shelly:

    At the top of this forum, you can find the landlord/tenant laws for your state. What you want to know is IN there.

    Unless, of course, this isn't a tenant. So, if you want REAL help, you'll explain some stuff for us.

    The more info you give us the better chance we have of helping. You need to give us a lot more info about this situation. Do you own the house, who is this person, how long have they lived there, have they helped pay for the house, etc.
