I had sex with my boyfriend than. The next day I was sore. Than I broke out with blisters down there a couple days after. The doctor says its herpes but didn't take a swab test. Can someone please help me.

Probably, you should go see another doctor for the swab test, but that's classic herpes symptoms and your doctor can probably diagnose them from just seeing them.

You should never have unprotected sex and your boyfriend should have told you he had herpes.

It would be very unusual to show symptoms after only a day or two. Usually it takes about two weeks from initial contact with the disease to show symptoms, and the first outbreak is generally awful. Many people have flu symptoms as well as blisters. So its possible you were exposed previously, say, two weeks before, but extremely unlikely that you would have blisters within a couple of days. Unfortunately, swab tests are often inaccurate. My best advice would be to wait and see if another outbreak occurs, and in the meantime look into possible treatment options. Try not to stress out too much, because even if you do have it, it is manageable.

It is strange that you would get Herpes in a couple of days but you may have gotten it earlier and the symptoms are just now showing up. You could see another doc but the first one was probably correct. A lot of people have this disease so your not alone. Here's some more info on Genital Herpes

My first occurrence of herpes was within 3 or 4 days after unprotected sex... Also, there is a test that can determine if you acquired the virus within the past few months or if you had the virus earlier but it never presented itself... has to do with antibodies. Ask your gynocologist.

People can have herpes for long periods of times, like years, and never have an out break or any kind of noticeable syptoms, so they assume they don't have an STD, which is the reason why herpes is growing so rapidly, like 1 in 4 people have it. So you may have already contracted herpes prior to that, and are just now having your out break. And I have always heard your 1st outbreak is the worst but know many people who say otherwise. You should def go see a obgyn and get on medication.

Oh & not to mention just about anything you do can trigger out breaks, stress, smoking, too much sun, like tanning, it goes on & on so read up on it get plenty of rest as well
