It's pretty good for you, it is a carbohydrate, so it can be fattening if you eat a lot of it, but it's kind of like eating pasta or rice, it's just faster to cook. You can eat it and not really worry about it being unhealthy or super fattening, unless you eat it like every 2 minutes slathered in some sauce with 5 million calories.
Basically, it's not too fattening and it's pretty good for you.
