    Buying a cb radio
I was wondering if anyone might know if you need an antenna to use a cb radio. Its my first one and just wondering if I will be able to pick up anything at all without an antenna. Any help would be great

Are you certain the unit functions?

And: yes. You will need and antenna. The antenna shoud be matched to the transmitter's output. Fairly standard applications. If you have your radio, go to Radio Shack or something and ask for an antenna to match.
