    Condesation on ceiling
    Hi I am having a terrible problem with condensation in my bedrooms over the windows on the ceiling I have had insulation blown in and a new roof in last 3 yrs I did check the vents in the eves and cleared them out but the problem is still there over the windows the room is cool yet my heat is set at 72 the basement is warmer than the upstairs what can I do any answers please help

    Check your widows and make sure you have good sealing between the glass and the frame you could be getting lots of moisture in from there a good way to check this is not only by visualization but by putting a feather around intire frame and checking for movement also double check your thermostat try purchasing a thermometer and checking the actual temp in each room if you find a difference it could be one of two things
    Either your thermostat is actually bringing the temp down and not registering acurately or you have oversized ducts in your attic and you are getting an overcooling in the rooms that are sweating
