    mystified about stat type?
    hi there

I was wondering if anybody could ttell me what kind of question this is.

an owner of 6 overnight cabins has 4 TV sets which he installs upon request at an extra charge. If there is a 50-50 chance that anyone of his guest wants a TV set installed in their cabin, find the probablility that ona night when all the cabisn are occupied there will be more requests for sets that there are sets. Given this probablility would u recommend that the owner buy more TV sets.

I'm thinking of finding the probability of (5 or 6) TV sets and going it about that way. But I'm not sure. Another ways iwas thinking would be using normal approximation to binomail but the np value is less than 5. any help is appreicated.

    thanks

This does indeed appear to be a binomial probability
