The fan "freewheels"... spins without the motor running. When the motor is running the fan does also turn but makes a "rumbly" sound. Should the fan wheel spin without the motor running? Thanks

Hi, I want to connect an auxiliary 115V in-duct fan to my airhandler motor so that the in-duct fan comes on when airhandler motor comes on. There is a red, purple and black wire going to the airhandler motor, and I can tap the in-duct wiring into any of them, but all three show 115V to ground...

Most systems show the evaporator coil after the blower, however, some air handlers show a configuration where it is before the blower. I don't have enough room above my vertical furnace to put an A coil. Would a horizontal coil between the filter and blower work?
