    Statute of limitation on credit card for Florida
    I would like to do a affirmative defense on the statue of limitations for a credit card bill that has be scavenge by a collector for a old debt because I go to mediation for this on Tuesday and I am not aware of this collection compay. This bill is over five years old.

    You need to get full documentation of the debt. Only then will you know if there is an SOL issue. But an SOL expiring doesn't remove your obligation to pay.
